About V13 Scoring
The V13 — archery's first mercenary company — got tired of soggy scorecards, unreadable handwriting, and doing sums in the rain. So we built this: online entry, phones for scorecards, cross-checking that argues so you don't have to, live leaderboards syncing out of the woods, and results published before the kettle's boiled.
The aspiration
Big things. Every shoot entered in seconds, every arrow recorded where it landed, every federation's rules baked in properly, and a club history that remembers your personal best longer than you do. The machinery under this site takes the rules of the NFAS and IFAA/EFAA rather seriously — the people running it, somewhat less so.
The capability
Here is the honest bit. This is a draft build. We are archers, not web designers — our idea of a stress test is a wet Sunday in the woods with one bar of signal. In these early days things will go wrong: pages may sulk, syncs may dawdle, and occasionally something will fall over in a way that surprises us most of all.
Using this site is absolutely no guarantee that it will stay up, work, or deliver helpful outcomes. We're doing our best — genuinely — but if it goes horribly wrong, give us some grace, tell us what happened, and bring a pencil to the shoot just in case. Paper never crashes. It just gets wet.
The deal
We'll keep improving it. You keep telling us what's broken (kindly, ideally, though we'll take it any way it comes). Scores that matter get double-checked on the day the old-fashioned way — the site is here to make shoot days better, not to be another thing to worry about. If it ever is, that's a bug. Report it.
See you in the woods,
— the V13
